Find the Perfect Theme with “There is a Theme for That”

I’ve been working with WordPress for about 2 years now. I’ve set up dozens of websites for both myself and clients and finding the perfect theme has always been a bit of a chore. Don’t get me wrong, I love that there are so many to choose from, but now that there are over 100 companies that make WordPress themes outside of the big market places like TemplateMonster and ThemeForest I quickly got tired of clicking through all of them to find the perfect theme.

Browser Detection WordPress Plugin

There are two main routes for detecting browser identity: client-side or server-side. You can do feature-detection for client-side detection, or use PHP and the user-agent server-variable for server-side detection. That said, if you’re using WordPress, this plugin makes server-side detection SO easy.

BitNami Stack for WordPress

If you’re looking for an alternative to MAMP/LAMP/WAMP/etc., check out BitNami’s WordPress Stack. It’s basically a free, pre-configured version of WordPress that includes all of the required software (Apache, MySQL, PHP, etc.).
